Fall Fun...

Although the weather has been getting a bit cooler here, we have been enjoying some rather gorgeous fall days. Our new favorite past time is exploring the many footpaths that go throughout the English country side and along the small river that runs through Mildenhall. In just a short 15 minute walk from our front door, we are surrounded by a still and tranquil beauty that is quite breathtaking. Our favorite spot lies just beside the water overlooking an open pasture where horses and cows graze freely. Bella enjoys feeding the ducks and watching the horses and Paul and Christina enjoy the chance to get out of the house, breathe in the fresh fall air and take in the serene views .

We didn't end up making it to Stonehenge or Bath yet since both Bella and Christina came down with a pretty nasty cold. So we have some pictures from our walks and a few of us just hanging around our house and garden (i.e. front and back yards). Bella has been having lots of fun dancing lately and she gets pretty into it... enjoy the little video:)

We hope you all have a fun and safe Halloween and if anyone happens to be in Vegas give Paul a call because he will be there on a trip till November 6th. Bella and Christina will be missing him much, but plan on staying busy with Halloween parties and playgroups. I am sure they will manage to fit in a few walks along the footpaths too. Enjoy this beautiful fall weather!

The Ladies Return...

So Christina and Bella have returned from there trip to Portland. And there has been much rejoicing (yeah). They had a great time and Bella did really good on both of the trips. They were lucky enough to get bumped up to business class on one leg, and have an extra seat next to Christina on all of the other legs so that Bella never actually had to be the lap child that we paid for. The wedding went well for all and we have some pictures to share from that. Bella was a flower girl, and she walked down most of the aisle by herself before needing some of Mom's help to make it the rest of the way. Paul definately wishes he could have been there. And not only did Christina and Bella get to be in a wedding and visit old friends, they got to spend a few days with Aunt Jessie as well! Jessie flew out to meet them and both Christina and Bella really appreciated the time that they got to spend with her out there. Once again Paul wishes he could have been there. On there final day together they all got to go out to the Oregon Coast, which they all enjoyed in their own way (Bella tried to start a new sport of sand swimming, alas to no avail!) All this time Paul spent around the Mildenhall/Cambridge area, seeing what the life of the bachleor was like out here. As much fun as those few days were (no pictures neccesarry) he is really glad to have the ladies back once again! We are now planning on doing a trip to Stonehedge/Bath this weekend, so we will write with more after that adventure. Oh yeah, and before Christina and Bella left we painted our living room and bought new couches, a chair, and a rug. So we will include a picture of that as well.
