The girls had a fun birthday party...it rained a little and Ariana wasn't quite herself but all the girls had a great time jumping on the bouncy castle and playing with all the new toys. Bella chose a "Dora the Explorer" themed birthday party complete with pinata and a singing balloon that popped within the first hour. She probably consumed about 4 juice boxes in less than 3 hours and was a little too into opening presents, but there were no huge meltdowns...thankfully. It was fun to have a few people at the party that had actually been to all of Bella's birthday parties. Ariana was pretty shy and clingy that day especially because she wasn't feeling well due to either a bug or teething. She was pretty overwhelmed with the whole thing, but dove into her cake once I let her have the chocolate cake instead of the vanilla...the girl knows what's up. Thanks to all who made their birthday celebration so special.
Hope everyone had a fabulous 4th of July. We took it easy after the big birthday party, but did make it to the fair that was on base...no fireworks for us this year but still a good time. We are looking forward to our trip to Scotland and will be blogging again soon. Enjoy the photos.
