Mediterranean Cruise May9-16

In May, Paul and I went on a cruise in the Mediterranean with a few of our friends that are stationed with us here in England. Of course, none of it would have ever happened had it not been for Paul's mom and Grandma. Ann and Grandma B flew into London a few days prior to our departure so we could spend some time together and so that they could get used to the girls' schedules. We were blessed to have such a loving and devoted team to take care of our girls while we enjoyed a bit of a second honeymoon.

Our cruise ported from Venice and since Paul and I had not yet been to Venice, we left early Friday morning so that we could have a full day to take in all the sights. We met up with the other couples that we were going on the cruise with later that evening and spent some of Saturday seeing the sights before we boarded our ship. We really enjoyed our first experience on a cruise ship. The waters were calm so there was no sea sickness, the food was amazing and very plentiful and it was the perfect combination of relaxation and sightseeing. It was great to have friends on board to share the fabulous dinners with and to tour with when we ported as well. Hope you enjoy some of the pictures and if you want a more detailed description of our cruise please visit the Walker's blog for maps and pictures galore....Great job Sara!
